Call me Never

Now featured in Ghosting isn’t Breaking Up: Apathy in Present Tense

This was a given title piece, inspired by Taylor Swift's song "We are never getting back together." I wrote this a few years ago. Just wanted to post this. The form of poem structure I used is called the “villanelle”. A villanelle is a three lined stanza with two repeating lines that alternate in the stanzas. Lines: we aren’t ever, ever, ever & you (changing word) call me never

Another poem I wrote with this structure is called Don’t Send Pictures of Your Penis
